Our first week on Portland was amazing. We had had many grateful experiences. Let’s start with our school, Waynflete. It’s so different and small (they are 500 students), everyone knows each other and they are all friends. Our classes have like 10 or 15 students and they are from all ages, we sit in circles with the teacher sitting on your site; also in each class you have a projector and in some of them you can use Mac books. The school it’s a labyrinth, more than one of us got lost, but the people here it’s so friendly that you can found your class soon. It’s really funny because everyone speaks to us, even if they don’t know us. The bests things of Waynflete, after the people, are that you can eat and drink whatever you want in classes!, that you came here without uniform and if you want to go to the bathroom you can just go.
On Tuesday with Felipe and Jose Tomas we played a basketball championship, we had a great time but we lost in our first game.
We had two tours. The first one was on Wednesday and we went to Bates, this is a really cool college. We had three guides, two of them spoke English. It was a great tour and we also ate a lot. The second tour was on Friday, we went to a place where they built big boats and then we went to a museum on Rockland.

Now I will talk about my family. They are so nice! I have two sisters, Caitlin and Elena, and my father, Cesar, and my mother Cathleen. Cesar it’s from Argentina, so they are similar to us. They are always worried abut me, they took
me everywhere, they give me really good food and they gives me a lot of affection.
I think that everyone has learned a lot of English. We still have some troubles with this language, but that’s not a problem because we are here to learn.
Summarizing, we had had a really great time and I know that this it’s just the beginning…
